An incredible luxury safari holiday, this 9 day trip takes you to three of Kenya’s iconic and exclusive game reserves. Not only will you be able to see hippos lazily sleeping in the rivers and elephant calves following the herd from an incredibly close distance during the many game drives, you will also be able to view Kenya’s majestic landscapes from up above.

You will travel from each incredible game reserve in the ultimate luxury plane; the VIP Cessna Grand Caravan with Kenya’s leading air safari operator.  In the comfort of the Oasis luxury interior of the aeroplane, your knowledgeable pilot and safari guide ensure all your questions about this stunning landscape are answered communicating with you via headphones. Watch the diverse range of animals across the landscape out of your own large window from the comfort of one of the eight leather seats.

Day One – Depart London

Fly from London Heathrow direct into Nairobi to arrive early the following morning.

Day 2-3 – Shaba Game Reserve

You will be met and transferred to Nairobi’s Wilson airport for your first Cessna Grand Caravan flight, travelling north to the Shaba Game Reserve. Upon arrival your guide will welcome and transport you from the airstrip to Joy’s Camp where you stay two nights with all meals, drinks and activities included. After lunch follow in the steps of Joy Adamson and experience the first of many game drives, spotting herds of elephants and buffalos crowding round the natural spring with lions slinking through the tall grass.

Day 4-5 – Lake Naivasha

Today you will leave to catch your first-class flight to Naivasha, watching the river, mountains and valleys pass by your window on the journey for two nights with all meals, drinks and game activities included. In the afternoon enjoy a game drive on the conservation area before dinner and retiring to the opulent African surroundings of your accommodation.

In the morning take a boat ride on the stunning Lake Naivasha, keeping your eyes peeled for colobus monkeys hanging from the passing trees and casually strolling giraffes stopping for a drink. On returning to the camp for the afternoon relax in front of the panoramic views before taking a game drive in the late afternoon. Enjoying the sunset over the savannah is a superb sight, one not to be missed.

Day 6-8 – Masai Mara

Fly on to the last of the three, and probably the most famous, Kenyan game reserves; the Maasai Mara. Here you stay at the Karen Blixen Camp in a luxury canvas tent for three nights with all meals, drinks and game activities included. Your cushion day bed overlooking the veranda provides the perfect vantage point of the Mara plains. Your afternoon game drive will introduce you to the reserve best known for the migration of the wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti.

Today drive through the Masai Mara. While the wildebeest and zebra migration passes through the area July to October, the reserve offers superb game viewing all year round. If you happen to be in the park during the migration season a breath-taking way to experience one of nature’s most powerful displays is from a hot air balloon, for an extra surcharge. An incredible way to see the Kenyan landscape from the point of view of the native peregrine falcon. Explore the vast wilderness of the beautiful Mara North Conservancy and its collection of animals, birds and rich vegetation across the open savannah; the classic image many people picture when they think of Africa.
