Stone Town – 2 nights
Unesco World Heritage Site, Stone Town is the old part of Zanzibar City. With winding alleyways, decorative doors and the Sultans Palace.
Plenty to see and do in this old town, People’s Palace Museum, Anglican Cathedral, Old Fort and the Hamamni Baths. You can also do a spice tour as Stone Town is renowned for its spices that was introduced by the Portugese traders in the 16th Century.
Selous – 3 nights
After exploring Stone Town you will spend the next 3 nights in a Unesco listed site once again. Selous is four times the size of the Serengeti, here you will have bush walks, game drives, night drives and boat trips along the Rufiji River. You will see plenty of Hippo wallowing in the water plus plenty of wildlife and of course the Big 5.
Zanzibar – 5 nights
Zanzibar is just 60 miles off the coast of Tanzania with pristine beaches, amazing reefs and warm waters. Here you will see traditional wooden dhows sail by. Across from the main island is Pemba which offers an away from it all escape.
