This Botswana journey begins with a superb experience of exploring the spillways, channels and islands of the game-rich Okavango Delta.

You then head north into the Chobe National Park, famed for its large herds of elephants and many predators. Complete your holiday at a tranquil lodge on the banks of the Zambezi, where you visit the magnificent Victoria Falls. There are many activities on offer here such as helicopter trips over the falls, boat trips and white water rafting.

Day 1 – Okavango Delta, Botswana

Early morning arrival, check-in for onward flight to Maun in Botswana. On arrival, you will be met and transferred by light aircraft to over the waterways of the Okavango Delta into your chosen Camp for a 2-night stay, all meals, local drinks, laundry and scheduled morning and afternoon game viewing activities included.

Day 2 – Okavango Delta

Early morning start for the departure on your morning activity, depending water levels you will have an opportunity to go on a game drive, mekoro excursion (traditional dug out canoe) or walk on the islands, or shared open 4×4 safari game drives.

 

Returning for brunch you have time at leisure until high tea before heading out on the afternoon activity. Day ends to communal dinner to share experiences and enjoy a drink around the fire side before retiring for the evening.

Day 3 – Chobe National Park, Botswana

Morning activity and breakfast in the Okavango Delta before scenic light aircraft flight up to Kasane. Your safari vehicle will meet you and transfer you by road to your safari lodge, which is on the far western side of Chobe, in a private concession for a 2 night stay, all meals, local drinks and scheduled morning and afternoon game viewing activities included.

Day 4 – Chobe National Park

 

Today we suggest you spend the full day out, depart after breakfast with your guide on a boat cruise. Stop for lunch and then return by safari vehicle.

Day 5-6 – Victoria Falls, Zambia

Road and boat transfer into Livingstone for a 2 night stay at your chosen lodge/hotel on the banks of the Zambezi River, these friendly, simple lodges are a perfect base for getting into town for optional activities or enjoying one of the many lodge included activities.

At the lodge a tour of Victoria Falls, sunrise or sunset cruise, fishing, island picnics, guided birding walk, guided village walk, trip into town and visit of local markets are included. Also the ideal place for some rest and relaxation.
