Our Big Cat Safari visits both the Masai Mara and Samburu National Reserve. With its rich, undulating grasslands and abundant wildlife, the Mara is an incomparable setting for a safari, whilst the arid landscape of Samburu is home to rare species confined to northern Kenya – Grevy’s zebra, Reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, gerenuk – as well as elephant, buffalo and a variety of antelope. Lion, leopard and cheetah are never far away.
